Episode 151 - Abby Kaufmann, Chamber of Cannabis

Episode 151 is the 14th episode of Season 3.

We’re joined today by Abby Kaufmann, Executive Director of the Chamber of Cannabis.

Abby has been working in cannabis data for over five years where she saw many of the challenges cannabis businesses face. This experience paired with her passion for the plant motivated her to join the Chamber of Cannabis where she worked with the Board of Directors for two years before becoming the Executive Director.

As Executive Director, Abby leads efforts to foster sustainable growth for Nevada’s cannabis businesses. The Chamber is a business trade association that exists to fuel the growth and transformation of the legal cannabis industry. By creating a supportive ecosystem, they empower cannabis businesses to thrive. 

After spearheading efforts to bring consumption venues to Nevada in 2021 and introducing social equity into statute with AB341, The Chamber successfully passed legislation to double the daily purchase limits and created a pathway for ex-offenders to work in the legal industry with SB277 in 2023.Through advocacy, education, resource provision, and relationship building, the Chamber enables collective action to achieve shared success that benefits businesses and the community as a whole.
