Episode 65 - Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference, Spring 2024

Episode 65 is the 11th episode of Season 2. We've got a special episode today covering The Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference. The conference happened earlier this month down in Hollywood Florida.

Benzinga is the leading cannabis investment & branding conference in North America.

The conference had a packed lineup of sessions and speakers in the industry discussing all things canna-business and finance. This was the third benzinga for me. It was a good time, always great to connect and meet with folks in the industry.

I met many of our previous guests there at the conference and setup several more.

Benzinga is an interesting conference in that it's very focused on cannabis business and investment. There are quick methods of networking available and plenty of social spaces to keep the conversation rolling.

Investment bankers, accountants, and C level execs across the space all in one place make it worth it for me to attend and touch base with folks and industry friends while talking shop.

I made several pitches for a client I'm working with during the week and connected with some solid entrepreneurs and leaders.

I did attend the keynotes and a few sessions but the networking app and meeting tables are where I spent most of my time bouncing between 15min meetings making things happen.

All in and all it was an excellent conference and experience this time around.
