Turbulance - Pheno Exotic

Impressive packaging here with a box within a box that contains a heavy glass jar with the sample in it. This did raise the expectations, perhaps too far. I think this sample had potential at one point - but at the time of assessment, it was very dry. It’s been on the shelf for about two months at the time of purchase. The sample mostly crumbles to powder. With the attention to detail on the packaging and branding, it’s safe to say I’m a little disappointed with this one, but I need to try a fresher sample before writing it off.

There are very subtle notes of floral lime. Extremely subtle here, even after grinding there’s only a slight aroma.

The Jet Fuel X Hazmat cross should be packing a bit more of a punch. The flavor was similar with slight fuel notes on the inhale and spicy exhale with hints of fruit. This was a very smooth and slow burning smoke. Surprisingly delicious all the way through with quite a ring of oil formed, showing the terpene content remained even though the flower was aging some.

Moderate effects from this one hitting the body with a slow build of relaxation that lives more in the head after it settles down. I’ll be on the hunt for more Pheno Exotic after this and probably check the harvest dates a little closer too.
