Chem Taxi Sugar - Alternative Medicine Association
Systemic Assessment Protocol® completed by Certified Ganjier™ Rob Sanchez
This Chem Taxi, from Alternative Medicine Association in Las Vegas, has a funky aroma, which stands out in the crowded concentrate market. Sharp, pungent garlic and sour grapes flood the senses as you open this one, like an onion gone slightly bad with candy grapes inside. Weird right? But good man, so good.
For a little sample, the aroma is powerful for sure. The lineage speaks loudly here; although, I don't know for sure what it is. I could find little information on “Chem Taxi,” but this is likely a Dirty Taxi pheno or cross. Dirty taxi is from Top Dawg Seeds and may be this sample, or at least part of, the sample’s lineage. There are many cultivars created from Dirty Taxi crosses like Deep State (Ohio G-13 x Dirty Taxi), Taxi Candy (White Runtz x Dirty Taxi) and Trash Eclair (Forum GSC x Dirty Taxi). Dirty Taxi is a cross between GMO and Chemdawg x I-95. With a Triangle Kush ancestry on one side and an OG Kush x Durban on the other, this cultivar brings a lot to the table. GMO is from Skunk House and also known as Garlic Cookies or Garlic Mushroom Onion. Skunkmasterflex brings a legit Chem background with an F1 Durban line; it’s one of the finest aromas in cannabis these days.
With the aroma on point, it’s difficult for the flavor to follow up. It does have the same flavor, but it isn’t the punchy blast of GMO style terps. The aroma for sugar is uncommon, but the flavor overall was fairly common. It is definitely a flower run here and handled with care throughout production.
I found this one real chill throughout with relaxed after effects and a balanced, reasonable duration. Chem Taxi Sugar is great for a day time smoke or evening boost of focus and euphoria. The smell alone makes this one worth experiencing if you see it on the shelf.
AMA’s notable logo is easy to pick out on the shelves here in Las Vegas; try out their range of sugars and other concentrates the next time you visit.
There are a handful of smoke sessions in my life that have stuck with me. Most involved good people or unforgettable places. Jamaica with the Fat Nugs team. Infrasound Music Festival. Late nights at Apartment 113 afterparties. Those memories are tied to people and music. This one was different.
Prophet continues to raise the bar for quality cannabis in California with intentional limited drops that consistently deliver clean cultivation practices and terpene-forward flower that actually lives up to the hype. Their Sticky Mango release is another example of that precision and eye for unique cultivars.

Brand identity is key to brand building in and outside of cannabis. Prophet brings one hell of a story to bear as both founders, Luke Scarmazzo and Ricardo Montes, opened the first medical dispensary in Modesto, California, before being raided and arrested by federal drug agents in 2006…
